The built-in reader makes it simpler for one person to measure and weigh animals. You can also enter tag details and notes using the alphanumeric keyboard.
With instructions available right on the device, you’ll always have help at hand no matter where you are with your TWR-1.

Do your animals have electronic ear tags?
An electronic ear tag (EID) contains a microchip that stores a unique animal ID. Most cattle in the UK carry a standard yellow visual tag. If there is a button style chip tag or a tag with a visible microchip, your animals are EID tagged.

For farms where animals do not have electronic ear tags. A weighing only setup lets you track individual and group weights, measure daily liveweight gain and make more confident decisions at the crush without needing to manage electronic tag data. You need two components: a weigh indicator and a set of loadbars.
What you need: Choose one weigh indicator and one set of loadbars. The indicator reads the signal from the loadbars and displays the weight. Match the bar length to your platform width and choose a capacity above your heaviest animal.
