The perfect entry-level scales for precisely weighing your animals. Monitor animal weights to gain better insights into their performance. With easy setup, a user-friendly design, and compatibility with the Gallagher Animal Performance App, the W-0 is an excellent option for livestock farmers starting to track their animals' weight.

It is also possible to add a Gallagher Handheld EID reader to directly scan animal ID numbers into the app, connecting them with animal weights to monitor the performance of each individual animal throughout its life.

The W0 doesn't have the capability to record additional information, it only records the  weight from this weigh head straight to your Animal Performace App on your phone.

Can I record weights to my phone and does the Gallagher W‑0 connect to an app?

Yes. The W‑0 is a straightforward device that utilizes Bluetooth to transmit weight data directly to the Gallagher Animal Performance mobile app instantly. One of the key advantages of the 1000/W0 kit is the ability to weigh quickly and maintain digital records effortlessly, without requiring a more sophisticated scale head.

What can, and what can't the Gallagher W-0 do?

✅ What the W‑0 can do:

The W‑0 transmits weight information through Bluetooth to the Gallagher Animal Performance app on your mobile device. A Gallagher handheld EID reader (such as the HR5) can also be paired with the same app. The app associates the EID number (provided by the reader) with the weight data (from the W‑0), allowing you to obtain individual animal weights and performance records.


❌ What the W‑0 cannot do:

The W‑0 doesn't have an integrated EID reader. You cannot connect an EID reader directly to the W‑0, as it does not have serial or panel reader inputs. EID information is neither stored nor shown on the W‑0 device itself; all processing is done via the app.
