A waterproof and sturdy antenna console designed for EID identification in cattle crushes, sheep crates, or any location where animals pass through. This EID tag reader is simple to install and operate, delivering strong reading capabilities for HDX and FDX-B tags in all conditions.  
The console is fully enclosed, waterproof, and made as a single piece for enhanced durability.  
It features reinforced notches to facilitate easy installation.

What equipment does a Gallagher antenna panel connect to, and does it work with weigh scales?

This type of fixed antenna panel is designed to connect to a Gallagher EID Tag Reader Controller or to certain Gallagher TWR weigh scales, where the EID numbers are recorded in the connected controller/scale. The antenna automatically tunes to the connected controller or scale, meaning no manual calibration is required.

What EID tags will a Gallagher antenna panel read (HDX/FDX‑B) and what’s the typical read range?

Gallagher fixed antenna panels read all ISO EID ear tags and are compatible with HDX and FDX‑B tags. They have arrange of up to 1.2m when animals walk past or are being weighed in a race/crush environment, but performance will be affected by the installation and animal presentation.

How is a Gallagher antenna panel installed, powered and are they waterproof?

Installation is typically side‑mounted in a race/handler/weigh point, and mounting hardware is included for straightforward yard fitting.
The panel is designed for tough farm conditions with a fully sealed / waterproof construction.
It does not need charging as the antenna panel is powered by the connected EID controller or TWR scale (i.e., it draws power through the connection)
