Select the E47P37S (two choices - either E47P37S or E47P37 ring insulator with tape fitting if you are using tape up to 20 mm (or rope/wire up to 7mm) on wooden posts. If you require carrying wider tape (up to 40 mm), choose the Premium screw-in tape insulator (E47P45S-20), which features a locking clip for wide tape. When you need to keep the line away from the post (to clear hedges/mesh or prevent rubbing), opt for the off-set ring insulator with tape fitting (E47P37SL-20), which maintains the conductor approximately 180 mm from the post. For metal posts, use Hotline’s adjustable/bolt-on insulators designed specifically for metal; the P37S is meant for wooden posts.

A screw-in ring insulator featuring a tape fitting that can be firmly attached to any wooden post. It is appropriate for Polywire, galvanised wire, and rope with a diameter of up to 7mm, as well as tape measuring up to 20mm. Additionally, it works with an insulator speed chuck.

The main function of the insulator is to firmly maintain the fence line while preventing any power from leaking from the post to the ground. A properly designed insulator will keep the line in place without causing damage to the tape, rope, or wire when subjected to wind and weather, and it will also allow the line to move freely without the hindrance of sharp edges.
