The TW-1 allows you to record one piece of information against the weight of the animal, you could record it's age, or something about it's characteristics, or it may have a sore eye. It features a convenient Touch Screen and an easy to use interface.

The most user-friendly EID-compatible scales available. The TW-1 is simple to operate. Track and manage your animals' weight gain to maximise your farm's profitability. The alphanumeric keyboard allows you to input tag details and notes. Built-in instructions ensure assistance is always at hand, no matter where you use your TW-1. Its sturdy construction is farm-proof, able to withstand dents, scratches, and harsh weather conditions. Comes complete with a practical Gallagher carry bag, mounting bracket, charging cable, USB, and APS software.

The Gallagher TW‑1 works with EID systems, allowing you to link EID readers and use EID lists for sorting and drafting purposes. The TW‑1 can sort animals into as many as 9 groups and offers performance visuals such as weight gain charts and weight distribution graphs to assist with decision-making in the yards.

What load bars / equipment can I connect, and what’s the best way to mount or install the TW‑1?

The Gallagher TW‑1 offers versatile connectivity choices for linking with other equipment, such as serial/USB and wireless connections, depending on the configuration. Regarding installation, it is advised not to attach the TW bracket to the weighing crate, as handling the scale may negatively affect weighing accuracy.

How do I get data off the TW‑1—does it sync to Animal Performance (app/web), and what connections does it support?

The TW‑1 allows animal data to be synced over Wi‑Fi with Gallagher’s Animal Performance web and mobile app, enabling access to your records on multiple devices. Additionally, the TW‑1 offers a “hard-wired” option through USB connections.

What comes in the box with the Gallagher TW‑1 (026015)?

The TW‑1 is supplied with the carry bag, mounting bracket/hardware, mains power adapter, USB cable, USB flash drive, 12V battery cable (alligator clips), and a mini serial adapter, plus the device itself.
