THE REVOLUTIONARY PRODUCT FEATURES:

  • DOL 26 is a capacitive sensor for detecting loose and solid materials.
  • DOL 26 is immune to EMI, short circuits and any overload. No more burned off sensors due to installation mistakes.
  • The mechanical design makes DOL 26 ideal for integration into applications with limited space. The full-return option is especially suited for feeding pans.
  • Very low power consumption in off state – enables possibility for sensors working in parallel on the same contactor. Unique possibility for controlling cross auger systems.
  • IP69k and NEMA 1/3/4/6/12/13 environment protection.

FUNCTIONALITY:

  • Easy trimmer adjustment on a single turn 240° trimmer with linear or non-linear scale.
  • The sensitivity of the sensor can be fixed or adjusted using a trimmer to suit different types of feed.
  • The ON/OFF delay and MaxRun Timer of the sensor can be fixed or adjusted using a trimmer to suit different motor control units.
  • Functions which can be made available for adjustment on trimmers:
    - Make / Break contact
    - ON and/or OFF delay
    - MaxRun Timer
    - Sensitivity

Options:

  • DOL26 105108 same as above but with 0-600 sec delay
  • DOL26 105207 same as above but with angled cable input
  • DOL26 105101 same as above but M18 threaded body and lock nut

DOL 26 (105107) Proximity Switch 18mm dia, Smooth with 0-60 second delay. (20-230VAC) 2 wire FAQs

What is a DOL capacitive sensor?

A DOL capacitive sensor is an electronic device that detects changes in capacitance to sense the level of materials such as feed, grain, or liquids. It is often used in farms, silos, and feeding systems. DOL is a world leader in the manufacture of the sensors.

What can a capacitive sensor detect?

It can detect both solid and liquid materials, including feed, grain, pellets, sawdust, water, and oil. Unlike mechanical switches, it has no moving parts, making it more reliable.

How does a capacitive sensor work?

The sensor creates an electric field around its probe. When material comes close to or touches the probe, the sensor detects a change in capacitance and switches its output on or off.

Do capacitive sensors require maintenance?

Only minimal maintenance is needed. Regular cleaning of the sensor surface helps ensure accurate detection, especially in dusty or sticky environments.

How do I adjust the sensitivity?

Most DOL capacitive sensors have a sensitivity screw and timer screw. Turning the sensor screw up makes the sensor detect materials farther away; turning it down makes it less sensitive to light or unwanted materials. The timer screw adjusts the length of time the sensor operates. iDOL sensors are easily connected to the DOL app and both the time and sensitivity can be adjusted by using your phone.
