Virkon® Professional Vet Disinfectant Tablets, 50 x 5g

The weakest point in any biosecurity plan is usually the bit nobody bothered to measure. Virkon Professional disinfectant tablets take the guesswork out of it. Each 5g tablet goes into 500ml of water and gives you a 1% working solution, so you don't need to weigh or pour powder and the dose comes out right every time.

The disinfectant is made for vets, poultry units, game farms and livestock buildings where you need small amounts of disinfectant often: foot dips at shed entrances, hand sprayers for drinkers and feeders, going between pens and vehicle wheel washes. It's a broad-spectrum formula that works against bacteria, viruses and fungi, and it still works in cold water, so winter washdowns are covered as well as summer ones.

The solution turns pink when it's mixed. When the colour fades, the solution has stopped working and it's time to make a fresh batch, so your team can see at a glance whether a foot dip is still doing its job. A made-up solution stays stable for up to 7 days.
