This product is suitable for:
Equiwire is the best conductor for safe and professional equine fencing. It consists of a metal core with a special UV-resistant coating on the outside. This coating makes the wire enormously strong, but soft when a horse comes into contact with it accidentally.
TurboStar Equiwire contains 33% more conductive material than the current Equiwire. Besides paying attention to safety, the product has been developed for it to last much longer.

What are the main features of Gallagher TurboStar Equifence Horse Fencing (and how do they work in real life)?
Length: 250 m per roll. Diameter: 7.8mm (big, smooth coating for safety and visibility). Colours: White (easy to see) and Terra (blends into the surroundings).
Conduction: ultra-low resistance 0.011–0.010 Ω/m (11.5 Ω/km), so it keeps voltage steady over longer distances.
Core & surface: 2.7mm aluminium-coated steel core plus four conductive carbon paths (which means a bigger shock surface).
Tensile strength: about 400kg (intentionally less than Hi-Tensile wire to lower injury risk if a horse panics).
Warranty / life: 10-year product warranty; around 30 years expected lifespan if installed properly.
What sets the Gallagher TurboStar apart from the “standard” EquiFence?
Conductivity: TurboStar offers three times better conductivity (0.011 Ω/m compared to 0.035 Ω/m for the standard EquiFence), resulting in less voltage loss over longer fence lengths.
Structure: TurboStar features a 2.7mm core with 4 carbon conductors, whereas the standard EquiFence has a 2.5mm core and 3 carbon conductors.
Diameter & tensile strength: TurboStar measures about 7.8mm in diameter with a tensile strength around 400kg; the standard is roughly 7.5mm in diameter with about 500kg tensile strength. (The slightly lower tensile strength reduces the risk of injury.)
