VDL Trough Dosing Unit
The Trough Dosing Unit is specially designed as a compact trough connection from a suspended hopper or a direct connection to feed augers.
Use with a storage funnel of Auger outlet.
An alternative to a hopper is the trough dosing unit. This unit is always applied with a winching system. A trough dosing unit can be installed directly underneath an outlet or a storage funnel by means of an outlet set. The trough dosing unit is equipped with a 7-position feed level regulator and feed return valve.
Advantages over hoppers:
- The weight of the (full) storage funnel does not need to be winched.
- Storage funnel with telescopic outlet set does not obstruct longitudinal ventilation.
- For cleaning of the poultry house, the telescopic drop tube and the storage funnel can easily be removed
- Includes 7 Stage slide and feed return valve
- 175 & 500 litre storage funnels available
- Closable or adjustable feed supply

For deliveries between 0 and 100 kg with a value that exceeds £249.99 plus VAT, we offer free delivery. Orders over 100 kg do not benefit from free delivery.

* 20 kg courier: £3.90 plus VAT + 40p per Kilo thereafter up to a limit of 100 kg

* 0 - 0.99 kg DPD £3.90 plus VAT
* 1 - 19.99 kg Courier £32.00 plus VAT
* 20Kg Courier £32.00 plus VAT + 58p per Kilo thereafter up to a limit of 100Kg
