What is special about Hozelock Pulsar Viton Sprayer 7lt #5311?

Short answer: The Hozelock Pulsar Viton 7L Sprayer (5311) is special because it’s the heavy‑duty, chemical‑resistant version of Hozelock’s pressure sprayers, built specifically for aggressive chemicals, wood treatments, solvents, and professional use. Its Viton seals, multi‑jet nozzle, dosing cap, and ergonomic design make it far more durable and versatile than standard garden sprayers.

1. Viton® Fluoroelastomer Seals (4× more durable)
The defining feature: Viton seals give superior resistance to aggressive and corrosive chemicals, lasting up to four times longer than standard seals.

This is why it’s used for:

Wood preservatives
Solvent‑based treatments
Strong garden chemicals
Professional agricultural or construction chemicals

2. Multi‑Jet 3‑in‑1 Nozzle - You get three spray patterns in one head:

Conical mist → jet
Narrow fan
Wide fan

This makes it far more adaptable than standard sprayers.

Hozelock

Hozelock Ltd was originally set up by Sydney Codling in 1959 to sell hoses and garden equipment including the first plastic quick-connector hose connector. As well as manufacturing the equipment in the Haddenham factory they also designed many of their own products.

Sydney's son, David Codling, took over as Chief Executive circa 1990, after the business was bought in 1990 by CVC Capital Partners, then named Citicorp Venture Capital, in a £24m buy-out from Ropner, the conglomerate.

A household brand well known for it's innovative garden watering equipment.
