Nettex Wound Care spray is a powerful wound cleanser designed for external use on minor wounds in poultry – a must-have for your Chicken first aid supplies.
It's an instant bacterial wound management spray for use on flesh wounds. An essential tool for wound management, for external application to all minor injuries and wounds suffered by poultry and game birds.
It has antibacterial properties that offer strong protection against bacterial infections. When applied, it leaves a violet-coloured residue to show the treated area is covered and to mask the look of blood, helping to reduce pecking or bullying. This makes it an important product for managing minor wounds. The aerosol spray allows for accurate and convenient application.

Can I use Nettex Poultry Wound Care Spray on large/open wounds and when should I get veterinary help?
It’s intended for minor wounds, don’t use on large open wounds that may need stitching; seek vet advice for serious, deep, or non-healing wounds.
How do I apply it?
Shake well before use
Clean the wound, then spray from about 15cm (6") away
Repeat daily or as necessary
Tip: If possible, separate the injured bird to reduce the risk of further pecking/cannibalism while it settles.
Why does it spray on “purple or violet” does that do anything?
The violet residue helps you see exactly where you’ve sprayed and also disguises the appearance of blood, which can help reduce pecking/bullying from other birds.
