Meeting the natural needs of poultry is becoming a bigger challenge in modern poultry farming. More and more, materials that keep birds busy are needed in egg production, mainly to satisfy their natural pecking instincts. The PECKStone is a feed-quality mineral block designed to encourage natural poultry behaviour.

Besides keeping the birds actively engaged, PECKStones help with natural beak wear and offer a chance for individual extra mineral intake, which is known to have a positive effect on their behaviour.

For commercial layers we recommend the use of the Hard version for younger birds from as soon as they arrive on the layer farm and then moving to Extra Hard as the birds are older, for best results ensure you use the correct hardness to promote enough consumption (therefore using Hard in the early period) and also to ensure they do not over consume (hence moving onto Extra Hard).
