A brand new insect growth regulator for use in poultry and livestock housing containing S-Methoprene. The product is applied as a granule directly onto the muck or areas where flies and maggots are breeding.
Larvenol will ensure that the larvae can’t develop into adult flies and will control an infestation before it starts targeting 80% of their lifecycle.

Larvenol is a specialist IGR designed with a progressive release formula to control maggots and larvae in calf/animal rearing and livestock premises. Indoor and outdoor use. Potentially effective up to 8 weeks depending on the use and infestation. The constant presence of S-Methoprene during the cycle inhibits flies from maturing.

During prolonged periods of heat the life cycle of flies speeds up, and therefore the interval between treatments is shorter, which also means that flies may be breeding in the top 50mm of the litter rather than the usual 100mm.

How to use

Larvenol Granular Larvicide is for use in animal houses and breeding sites both inside and outside.
The larvicide can be applied outdoors to areas such as manure heaps and slurry pits, or indoors in a 50 cm strip along walls, partitions, under feeders and troughs, or simply cover the entire floor area.
The product is scooped into a cup and scattered to control flies with an application rate of 30g/m2.
