The SCANTEMP 450 infrared thermometer lets you measure surface temperatures quickly and easily without needing to touch them. This professional tool covers a broad temperature range from -60°C up to +500°C, and you can also connect a type-K thermocouple sensor.
Just point the thermometer at what you want to measure, press the button, and you’ll see the result in seconds. The clever circular laser sight shows you exactly where you’re measuring, making it easier to aim. The backlit display shows the current temperature as well as the highest and lowest readings.
This way of measuring is perfect for checking the surface temperature of hard-to-reach, live, or moving parts, especially in electrical and mechanical maintenance, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and car diagnostics. Infrared thermometers are also widely used in the food industry since they don’t harm the items being measured. Plus, this device meets HACCP standards.
