What do I need for installation (earth, cabling, mounting)?
Earth system: The Peregrine features two earth terminals, and we recommend using two or more earth stakes in poor soil conditions for optimal performance. Lead-out cable: When placing the energiser indoors, a high-voltage lead-out cable is required to connect the unit to both the fence and the earth array. Mounting: Designed for wall mounting; approximately 10W power consumption from the mains.
How many poultry or sheep nets can a Hotline Peregrine Energiser handle?
When conditions are good, the Peregrine can handle roughly 30 sheep nets measuring 50m each, or about 25 poultry nets of the same size. If your area is weedy, very dry, or has a heavy load, expect to manage fewer nets.
Can a Hotline Peregrine Energiser run during a power cut?
Yes. In addition to 230V mains, the Peregrine accepts a 12V back‑up battery. There’s a battery back‑up monitor on the unit.
