This product is made exclusively for electro-tape up to 40 mm in width. It is not suitable for rope, polywire, or high-tensile wire—this version is meant only for tape.

Yes, you can use it as a corner piece by attaching the plastic plate and bolt, then guiding the tape around the back bar. Just a heads-up: in this corner setup, the tensioning feature isn’t active, so be sure to tighten it somewhere else or have solid anchor points.
How do you install and tension Hotline Electric Fence End Tensioning Insulator?
