Where does a HILO gauge fit in the gas setup?
It fits between the propane cylinder valve and your usual screw-in propane regulator, connecting Male POL (cylinder end) to Female POL (regulator end). This design allows for an easy and quick visual inspection.
What is a HILO gauge and what does it do?
This is an in-line propane cylinder pressure gauge made to check the cylinder's pressure and show a visual sign of how much gas is left. Since it works by measuring pressure, it's great for a quick status check but not for precise "litres remaining" measurements like you'd get in a lab.
