Ground cable is used to connect the energiser to the fence and the earth rods. The cable is also used to make underground fence connections, for instance, under gates or openings.

2.5mm aluminium coated wire with 4 x the conductivity of 2.5mm galvanised wire
Heavy duty double insulation with tough polyethylene covering for extra protection and abrasion resistance
Medium tensile 2.5mm wire makes cable easy to work with
Also suitable for use between earth pegs in earth system

Should be laid in plastic pipe for physical protection when used underground

What is the Gallagher Ground Cable used for?

Gallagher Ground Cable is designed to carry power underground between your energiser and fence, or underneath gateways and tracks where standard fence wire cannot be used. It is heavily insulated to prevent power loss into the ground.

How far can this cable carry electricity?

The 2.5mm galvanised steel core provides excellent conductivity for underground runs. It is suitable for long-distance connections between energisers, earth systems, and fence lines while minimising voltage loss.

Can this cable be used above ground as fence wire?

No. This cable is intended for underground power transmission, not as a live fence conductor. The thick insulation prevents animals from receiving an electric shock if they touch it.
