The Goodnature Professional rat trap kit is a poison-free trap that quickly and painlessly controls rats and mice. The walk-in trap can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Through the included free Goodnature app, you can see how often the trap has been set off and when the CO2 canister and lure needs to be replaced. You can also receive a notification when the trap has gone off so you can forget about it until there's a dead rodent to clear away. In the app, you can manage multiple traps. This eliminates the need to visually inspect each trap on a daily basis.

The kit includes a robust box that keeps the trap and dead rodents out of sight and out of reach of curious pets and children, and is locked with a key. The box can be screwed to a wall. This makes this kit a very secure solution with minimal risk of theft. In addition, the kit includes an extra CO2 canister, 2 lure pumps, a tray where you can apply your own lure and a holder to mount the trap to a tree, wall or other standing object.

Maintenance is low, but you should plan to replace the lure pump every 6 months and change the CO₂ canister after 24 strikes or around every 6 months, depending on activity. Goodnature also recommends placing the trap in sheltered, shaded locations for best performance.

Is the trap safe to use around pets, livestock, and public areas?

The A24 uses a toxin-free lure, so there is no risk of secondary poisoning to pets, livestock, or wildlife from poison bait. The lockable trap box also helps keep the trap secure and keeps dead rodents out of sight, but it should still be installed correctly and used in line with local regulations.

Can I monitor trap activity from my phone?

Yes. The Smart Cap connects to the Goodnature app via Bluetooth, allowing you to track kills, trap activity, and refill reminders from your smartphone when you are in range. It also helps record catches that may have been scavenged before you see them.
