Gasolec S2 Gas Brooder with stainless steel filter. The metal air filter is easy to use and maintain, despite the fact that the brooder does not have a thermostat, the addition of an adjustable heat regulator (50-150) allows it to be operated at levels of between 1,500 and 3,500 btu (0.4/1.0 kw).
The Gasolec S2 is capable of warming 100 - 200 pheasant or hen chicks, depending on how well insulated the shed is. A simple hook on the top of the brooder allows it to be easily hung by a chain from above.

Gasolec started in the heating business with the production of the S-type, with its characteristic cast iron burner chamber and a ceramic burner plate. A successful heater still considered as a good, relatively inexpensive and reliable brooder for use on Game Farms. Around 3 million S-heaters have been produced so far and production continues!
