This flexible hose is designed for transporting LPG gas. It features a black smooth NBR tube reinforced with a spiralled textile layer. The hose is then coated with a smooth orange EPDM rubber. It meets the BS3212/2 standard/approval and is suitable for high-pressure LPG applications.

Is 8mm the correct size for gas hose? And which fittings or clips are required?
An 8mm internal diameter hose is intended to fit over 8mm hose nozzles or tails and is usually fastened with a worm-drive or Jubilee clip. The hose’s external diameter is generally about 15–16mm, which is why clips sized approximately 10–16mm are commonly used.
What is orange 8mm propane gas hose?
It’s a flexible LPG hose with an 8mm internal bore (often called “8mm ID”) used to carry propane (and often butane/LPG mixtures) between gas fittings and appliances.
The orange colour is widely used as a high‑visibility identifier for LPG hose in outdoor/agricultural/leisure setups.
