What is Gallagher Twined steel electric fence wire, and when should you choose Twined steel wire over poly or tape?

Twined steel wire is a thin, stranded, galvanised steel conductor (about 2.0mm thick) made for very long, movable (portable) fences. It works especially well when the fence comes into contact with vegetation.

On the other hand, Gallagher’s Turbo Wire, which is a poly wire mixed with metals, is also designed for long portable fences and offers roughly 40 times the conductivity of regular polywire—great if you want a lightweight, very visible, composite line.
