The innovative S60li is a 0.6 joule solar energiser with a lithium battery.
The Gallagher S60li is a cutting-edge solar energiser. Featuring an integrated lithium battery, this model is 60% lighter and more compact than similar devices, enhancing its power, reliability, and portability. Its unique game mode also makes the S60li effective for deterring wild animals. Delivering a force of 0.6 joules, it is ideal for fences up to 6km long and for sheep nets.
With lithium technology and a sophisticated 5.6W solar panel, it charges three times faster using sunlight and provides three times the operating duration compared to similar energisers. This ensures dependable power around the clock, throughout all seasons. Gallagher's patented battery management system, featuring intelligent adaptive energy control, maintains device operation even during times of limited light.
This has a handy wildlife setting. Use the wildlife setting when first installing as that gives a faster pulse down the line and then once they respect the fence put it back down to the livestock setting.

How to use
Position the device so that the solar panel faces south-west and is clear of any vegetation. Ground it using either a 1-metre earth stake (#008735) or a 2x0.5m double earth stake (#090457). Avoid placing the device directly on the ground; instead, use the supplied holder (#571126) to attach it to a post or earth stake, or use the stand (#007509), (NOT Included) which can be inserted into the ground and also functions as an earth stake. The device comes with red and green cables with alligator clips for connecting it to the fence and earth stake. After purchase or storage, allow the device to charge fully in daylight for three days by placing it in the off position facing south. This should be done even if the red LED shows the battery is low. For long-term storage, store the device in a dark, dry, and well-ventilated area.

Runtime: Once fully charged, the S60Li can operate for approximately 20 days without UV light, thanks to smart energy control that reduces pulses when necessary. First use charge & orientation: Daltonsupplies.com advises charging the device before first use and positioning the panel facing the equator (for example, south-facing in the UK), mounting it above ground level. For a thorough recharge after storage, turn the device OFF and leave it in sunlight for about 3 days.
