Equipped with an accelerator mechanism, so the drum rotates three times faster compared to a standard reel for fast spooling. Carry handle with knuckle guard to protect hands. Locking ratchet. With a 3:1 gear ratio, you can reel the wire in and out three times quicker than a regular reel, helping you save time when shifting fences for strip grazing or seasonal paddocks.
What are the main features and specs of the Gallagher geared fence reel?

How do you connect power to the polywire on the reel on a Gallagher system?
You’ve got two choices:
Best way: Attach a connection set clamp to the metal part of the reel drum for a solid electrical connection. Another way: Wrap the polywire around the reel hook and hang it on a live fence wire. It works, but it’s not as secure and might lower conductivity.
