This product is suitable for:
Strong braided plastic rope for semi-permanent horse and cattle fences shorter than 500 metres with 5 stainless-steel wires and 1 tinned copper wire provide excellent conductivity.
Because of its braided design, the PowerLine rope holds up better during everyday winding and unwinding, even when it gets damaged. It also stretches less compared to cheaper twisted ropes, which helps keep it tighter and means you don’t have to fix it as often. This lowers the chance of accidents since a properly tensioned rope is less likely to snap. Plus, there’s less chance of it getting tangled, if for example, a horse rolls close to the fence.
You will have guaranteed power from the beginning to the end of the fence. It is easy to install and has a 5-year UV warranty.

What’s the difference between the Gallagher Terra and White PowerLine rope?
Performance wise they’re the same PowerLine braided rope, the main difference is colour and visibility. The range is available as White (white/black) and Terra (terra/black) options.
White is often chosen for maximum visibility on the fence line whilst Terra is commonly chosen when you want the fence to blend in more naturally while still being a visible rope conductor.
What type of fencing is Gallagher PowerLine rope best suited for and how long can the fence be?
Gallagher PowerLine rope is designed for short distance fence runs and works for both permanent and mobile fencing setups.
It's suitable for fences up to 500m and it's a high-quality rope for livestock and horses, and is also used to subdivide longer fence systems.
Is Gallagher PowerLine rope strong and durable enough for horses and or cattle, and how long will it last?
PowerLine rope is built for durability and controlled safety behaviour. The braided structure improves durability and helps it stay intact through regular winding/unwinding, with less stretch than cheaper twisted ropes.
With a Tensile strength of 330kg the rope won’t typically break under minor impacts (e.g., branches/pushing), but is intended to break if an animal runs into it when correctly tensioned, helping reduce entanglement risk.
