OPP stands for Ortho-Phenyl-Phenol, which is an organic compound widely used as a disinfectant and preservative.

What is Fumagri OPP and what does it target?

Fumagri® OPP is a dry smoke disinfectant that uses Ortho-Phenyl-Phenol (OPP) and is made for disinfecting the air in closed spaces. It kills bacteria, fungi, yeast, and viruses, working against germs like Salmonella, Listeria, Aspergillus, Staphylococcus, and viruses such as Avian Influenza, Newcastle Disease, and Infectious Bursal Disease.

Where and when should Fumagri OPP be used?

Animal housing (poultry sheds, pig farms)
Hatcheries (incubators, egg storage rooms)
Feed silos and feed mills

Application is usually carried out 24–48 hours prior to reintroducing animals, following the cleaning and arrangement of equipment and bedding. It is also employed for secondary disinfection between flocks and prior to loading feed.
