The Heavy Duty filter is a totally different kind of filter. It’s made from tough cloth material and blocks 99% of dust particles from getting into the S-heater, which is way better than what the Stainless Steel filter does.

Its folded design means it has a much bigger surface area than the SS filter, so you don’t have to clean it as often. You can easily clean the HD filter by hand during production and give it a good wash with water or compressed air after each cycle.

When you should choose between the HD and the SS filter on a Gasolec Brooder?

Dust being drawn into the heater can cause incomplete combustion, which may release toxic substances—so filtration matters.
A sensible rule of thumb:
Choose 70320 #PU320 (SS) if your housing is relatively clean / low dust and you’re happy to clean it regularly.
Choose 70321 #PU321 (HD) if your housing is dusty (feed dust, bedding fines, older sheds, drafty areas) or you want maximum dust protection and less frequent cleaning.

What is the difference between the HD and the SS filter on a Gasolec Brooder?

The 70320 Stainless Steel (SS) is easy to maintain; you can clean it by hand during the production cycle, then clean thoroughly with compressed air or water after each cycle.
The 70321 Heavy Duty (HD) with its folded design, gives a much bigger surface area, so you don’t have to clean it as often; it can also be cleaned by hand during production and then washed with water or cleaned with compressed air after each cycle.
