The Emperor Feeder by BEC is made from a durable UV stabilised recycled Polymer and has a capacity of 70 ltr, which equates to around 50kg, depending on feed density. Its design allows feed to flow smoothly without clogging and uses a unique rainwater capture system.
The feed dispenser is made form robust Glass Filled Nylon 6 and is resistant to badger attack and UV damage.
Suitable for use in pens, open woodland and moorland locations.
PRACTICAL, FEED FLOW SILO DESIGN:
For bulk feeding, Gamekeepers and Breeders have often used old chemical drums or barrels, which aren’t the best since their flat bottoms cause feed to gather around the edges and spoil unless cleaned out regularly. The Emperor Feeder’s Silo Design makes sure that feed poured in from the top keeps moving through completely, so there are no spots where feed gets stuck, meaning fresh feed is always available.
In addition, the rainwater drainage tube diverts water away from the feed area avoiding feed contamination.
EASY TO HANDLE, CONVENIENT TO USE:
The Emperor Feeder is light and easy to handle and is equipped with a strong, water tight lid with a robust push click fit which is the right size and height for convenient filling.
The Emperor Feeder is also designed so that the position and angle of the legs provides optimum stability. The entire assembled unit is inherently stable as the centre of gravity is low in relation to the leg footprint even when full. In addition, because different game species are comfortable with different feeding heights, the Emperor Feeder has legs that are easily adjusted. As they are made of tanalised wood they can be sawn to the required length or, for smaller adjustments, the leg wedges can be fixed at different positions.

Game rearing bird & poultry supplies from the Broiler Equipment Company (BEC)
BEC was founded in the UK over 50 years ago and is credited with developing the first round plastic automatic drinker for the poultry and game bird rearing industries. BEC products have now been in use for over forty years and have developed an enviable reputation for reliability all over the world.
Osprey Limited, a successful plastic injection moulding company based in the UK, purchased BEC in January 2004.
Investment in the BEC product line continues with the recent introduction of new bird feeders and the retooling of some existing products. This includes poultry drinkers to increase the number of game rearing products manufactured in-house. The product range now includes drinkers ranging from 1 ltr hand filled to large ballasted auto poultry drinkers suitable for turkeys, and bird feeders ranging from 1 kg to 50 kg capacities.
BEC has benefited greatly from Osprey’s expertise in plastic moulding having achieved ISO 9001:2015 accreditation in all aspects of its operations. All game and poultry rearing equipment production is carried out to audited procedures, ensuring reliable, quality products.
The BEC feeders and drinkers are just one part of a wide range of product lines manufactured and supplied by Osprey. Others include household products such as vacuum cleaners, as well as equipment for deep-sea fishing and fish farming. With the emphasis on manufacturing in-house, many of these game rearing products are designed and produced in Osprey’s own factories here in the UK.
