Black Pearl Grain 270g Paste Tube

Black Pearl Paste is a highly attractive bait containing micro-encapsulated Alphachloralose. Formulated to control mice infestations within 24-48 hours.

The Alphachloralose active belongs to the narcotic family. Only a small amount needs to be consumed by a mouse and the active will start to take effect by reducing the body temperature of the mouse until it falls into a coma and dies. In a lot of cases this can take as little as a few minutes.

There is very little danger of any secondary toxicity issues with Alphachloralose as residues in dead mice are negligible and wont effect any predators that might pray on a mice controlled by Black Pearl.

Because a lethal dose is administered, without medical intervention the pest cannot survive - even in warm temperatures.

How to use

How much should I use?

For high infestations use 5g-20g of bait in a mouse bait station every 3m.
For low infestation use 5g-20g of bait in a mouse bait station every 5m.

Instructions for use: Use the cartridge with a bait gun, cut the conic nozzle at about 1cm diameter. 1cm of bait is approximately 1g of bait.
Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after use. Do not place bait where food, feed or water could become contaminated. Prevent access to bait by children, birds and non-target animals (particularly dogs, cats, pigs and poultry). Baits must be securely deposited in a way so as to minimize the risk of consumption by other animals or children. Where possible, secure baits so that they cannot be dragged away. Bait should be laid for periods of at most 7-10 days. Search for and remove dead rodents at frequent intervals during treatment, at least as often as when baits are checked and/or replenished. Due to the action of this rodenticide this may need to be as
often as every few hours. Dispose of dead rodents in accordance with local requirements. Poisoned rodents may be disposed of by the waste producer at an incinerator or landfill permitted to accept that type of waste, or collected by a registered waste carrier and taken for disposal at a suitably permitted site.
