Use a power washer equipped with a foaming lance to achieve complete coverage. Allow a contact time of 120 minutes to effectively control coccidia.

How effective is Bi-OO-Cyst against coccidiosis?

At a 3% solution (UK), Bi-OO-Cyst takes out coccidia oocysts if left for 120 minutes. Tests show it cuts down viable Eimeria oocysts by over 90%. It also works well against Cryptosporidium parvum at a 1% dilution (according to the DVG test). That’s why it’s one of the go-to products for managing coccidiosis during cleaning and disinfection routines.

What is Bi-OO-Cyst and what makes it different from regular disinfectants?

Bi-OO-Cyst is a DEFRA-approved disinfectant and coccidiocide designed for farm biosecurity. Unlike standard disinfectants, it not only kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeasts but is also proven effective against coccidia oocysts (Eimeria), which cause coccidiosis in poultry and other livestock. This dual action makes it ideal for turnaround cleaning in poultry houses and livestock facilities.

Biolink

Biolink Limited was formed in 2007 to sell agricultural disinfectants and cleaners into the agricultural industry. The business expanded on the back of innovative new products backed up by on-farm service and advice. Early in 2011, the company purchased a manufacturing business in Northamptonshire to enable total quality control.
