Easy to use – the Auto Reel smoothly and easily unwinds the hose enabling you to stop at any point to water. The reel’s mechanism automatically locks so that you do not have to hold the hose taught. To unwind more hose, simply pull the hose and the mechanism will unlock.
Puts itself away – when it is time to rewind the hose, a simple tug unlatches the drum and the Auto Reel’s patented automatic rewind system takes over and neatly coils the hose with no kinks or tangles.
Clean, tidy & protected – the Auto Reel neatly stores and protects the hose in a tough, UV resistant Polypropylene case, ensuring the hose remains protected.
Wall hanger with 180 degree coverage – the robust wall bracket allows the Auto Reel to pivot 180 degrees, allowing you to reach every part of your garden and store away flat against the wall after use.
Feeder hose & park point – neatly store the feeder hose when not in use. This is especially useful when tidying the unit away in winter. The leak free parking point prevents drips when storing in your shed or garage.

Does the hose rewind automatically?

Yes. Its spring-powered automatic rewind system draws the hose back into the enclosed reel and layers it neatly, helping prevent kinks, twists and tangles.

Can the reel swivel when mounted to a wall?

Yes. The wall bracket allows the reel to pivot through 180 degrees, helping the hose follow you around the garden and allowing the reel to fold back towards the wall for storage.

Can I stop the hose at my preferred length?

Yes. Simply pull out the required amount of hose and the mechanism will lock it in position at regular intervals. A further gentle pull releases the lock and activates the automatic rewind.

Hozelock Ltd was originally set up by Sydney Codling in 1959 to sell hoses and garden equipment including the first plastic quick-connector hose connector. As well as manufacturing the equipment in the Haddenham factory they also designed many of their own products.

Sydney's son, David Codling, took over as Chief Executive circa 1990, after the business was bought in 1990 by CVC Capital Partners, then named Citicorp Venture Capital, in a £24m buy-out from Ropner, the conglomerate.
