This sleek scale delivers outstanding weighing accuracy while being budget-friendly. It's great for quickly measuring small, lightweight items like eggs, jewelry or food ingredients, making the EPB a perfect choice.
Housed in a durable and stylish ABS case with a stainless steel weighing platform and a clear white backlit display, it works well even in dim lighting.
It comes with a plastic cover for the platform and two AAA batteries. To save power, it automatically turns off after 60 seconds. Plus, it has indicators for overload and low battery, along with a push-button tare and a simple counting feature.

How do I calibrate a Brecknell EPB Pocket Scale?
Test weights needed:
500g cap. = 200g & 500g
3kg = 1kg & 3kg
Press to turn the scale on.
Press and hold the M key until CAL is displayed. Display briefly shows CAL and then flashes a weight (smaller test weight) to be placed on the scale.
Add all the requested weight at the same time to the scale. The display will then show a second weight equal to capacity of the scale.
Remove first weight and place the larger weight all at once to the scale. The display shows PASS, then the total weight.
Remove the test weights and press to turn off scale.
The calibration is now complete.
Salter Brecknell
The Brecknell brand has always been associated with global weighing manufacturers and has been viewed in many different guises over the last century.
Charles W Brecknell and Co was founded in 1913 in Birmingham, England and was the first firm to manufacture visible weighers for the wholesale industry. The company continued to expand into the 1920s and was purchased by W & T Avery Limited in 1926.
The Salter brand has also played a part in Brecknell’s history, and product was sold under the name Salter Brecknell for several years when Weigh Tronix and Avery Scales merged to form Avery Weigh-Tronix in 2003. The brand has since been re-branded as ‘Brecknell’ and continues to be sold under this name today.
