What flow rate and pressure range is required for the proper operation of a 1-5% Dosatron?
These pumps typically need a water flow of 10 to 2,500 L/h and operate effectively between 0.3–6 bar pressure
How do you adjust and calibrate the dosage percentage?
You adjust it manually with the dosing scale (1%–5%). To calibrate, you set the dial, prime the pump to get rid of any air, and then tweak it by checking the injected volume compared to the water flow.
What are common troubleshooting steps when dosing (or priming) fails?
Common problems are:
No clicking because the piston is stuck or the flow isn't enough
Weak suction due to a blocked strainer or air leaks
Backflow happening because the check valves are broken
Worn seals or pistons that need regular upkeep
