BEC Tripod Drinker 10lt
Manufactured using UV stabilised polypropylene and polyethylene these drinkers are designed to cope with the toughest conditions on shoots and poultry farms across the globe
With a solid tripod base, the body is light but durable with a heavy duty carrying handle that is designed to cope with the loads encountered when filling and moving the body
They have a high capacity water pan, easily accessible to various kinds of birds including all sizes of poultry, game birds, ducks, geese and turkeys
The water barrels on the BEC Tripod drinkers are made of translucent plastic so you can easily see the level of the water as you fill it and when you check to ensure your birds are never without water in the field
Filling the unit is done through the top of the tank – while the filling is taking place the spigot is sealed by a rubber key style bung. Once you place the tank onto the tripod you remove the bung, slacken of the carrying handle and let the pan fill – once it covers the outlet pipe you tighten up the carrying handle creating a vacuum that controls the release of water as your birds drink
The BEC Tripod drinkers are stable and operate on uneven ground, although it is always best to try and keep them on a level surface!

How to use
To assemble:
1. Click the black water tray into the leg set.
2. Insert the Red plug into the outlet stem of the water barrel.
3. Place the water barrel into the top of the leg set.
4. Fill the water barrel and screw the black cap on tight. Ensuring the rubber O ring is present in the cap.
5. Remove the Red plug. Water gushes out until the level is up to the outlet on the white stem.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best way to clean my drinker?
The easiest method of cleaning the drinker is to seal the outlet at the base using the rubber key type bung provided, then add a Milton type solution diluted 50ml of solution in 10lt of clean water.
Once full, screw the top on and leave for at least 2 hours, longer if possible or until the inside is clear. You may need to repeat this a couple of times.
Empty the solution out and rinse well.
Household bleach will also work, but be sure to rinse the container thoroughly several times before use with the birds.

Game rearing bird & poultry supplies from the Broiler Equipment Company (BEC)
BEC was founded in the UK over 50 years ago and is credited with developing the first round plastic automatic drinker for the poultry and game bird rearing industries. BEC products have now been in use for over forty years and have developed an enviable reputation for reliability all over the world.
Osprey Limited, a successful plastic injection moulding company based in the UK, purchased BEC in January 2004.
Investment in the BEC product line continues with the recent introduction of new bird feeders and the retooling of some existing products. This includes poultry drinkers to increase the number of game rearing products manufactured in-house. The product range now includes drinkers ranging from 1 ltr hand filled to large ballasted auto poultry drinkers suitable for turkeys, and bird feeders ranging from 1 kg to 50 kg capacities.
BEC has benefited greatly from Osprey’s expertise in plastic moulding having achieved ISO 9001:2015 accreditation in all aspects of its operations. All game and poultry rearing equipment production is carried out to audited procedures, ensuring reliable, quality products.
