TurboLine plastic wire is the most conductive wire for portable fencing over 500 metres. Nine stainless steel and three light metal wires provide 40 times more conductivity than standard plastic wire.
TurboLine is over 50% stronger than traditional plastic wire, will not stretch or twist and is highly visible.

What is Gallagher Vidoflex 9 TurboLine Plus and what makes it special?
This is a high-quality braided polywire intended for electric fencing, suitable for long portable or semi-permanent fences exceeding 500 meters. It provides excellent conductivity (40 times greater than standard polywire) due to its composition of 6 stainless steel wires and 3 copper wires, and it is more than 50% stronger than conventional polywire. The braided design helps prevent twisting and kinking, making it perfect for regular winding and unwinding.
How conductive is Vidoflex 9 TurboLine Plus compared to standard wire?
It has a super low resistance of 0.06 Ω/m, so it transfers power really well even across long distances. That means the voltage stays strong at the far end of the fence:
Start: about 8,000 V
At 100 m: around 7,800 V
At 500 m: roughly 7,000 V
At 1,000 m: close to 6,400 V
