Gallagher 1.40m LinePost, unique and durable design and extremely suitable for permanent fencing. Full self-insulating and extremely quick and easy to set up.
The conductor can be attached to various pre-shaped positions on the post with LinePost Clips that are available separately. The unique and durable benefits of this post are achieved by combining a fibreglass core with a UV-protected polyethylene exterior.

How many conductors can the insulated line post support, and at what heights?
The post includes pre-made wire attachment points along its length, enabling several conductors (such as rope, tape, or wire) to be fastened. Depending on the setup, wires can be positioned at different adjustable heights, with a maximum fence-line height of 1.50m.
Is it necessary to have separate insulators, and what is the function of the clips?
You need separate insulators. The line post insulates itself, and the wires connect using snap-on LinePost Clips (see 744346), which hold the wire right onto the post.
Is it simple to set up and appropriate for various types of terrain?
Yes, it can be installed manually using a rammer, without the need for any machinery. The fibreglass core combined with the flanged foot spike allows the post to bend upon impact without snapping and provides a firm anchor, even on rough or uneven terrain.
How durable is the post, and what’s the warranty/lifespan?
Constructed with a fibreglass core and a UV-resistant polyethylene exterior, the post is designed for durability. It includes a 10-year warranty, and its usual service life in the field is over 25 years.
Can it withstand animal impact and minimize risk of fence faults?
Definitely. Its bendy fibreglass frame lets it flex and bounce back when animals push against it, cutting down on damage. Plus, the UV-protected surface and built-in insulation help prevent fence problems, keeping the fence working smoothly.
