The BA20 is the smallest Gallagher battery energizer and is suitable for short fencing of up to 2 km. The energizer is lightweight and is easy to carry, making the BA20 also perfectly suitable for portable fencing. The energizer has a built-in lightning conductor and is supplied with a connection cable set. Excludes battery.

Which leads go where on a Gallagher BA series energiser?
9v Option:
The red goes to the fence wire and the green goes to the earth stake.
12V Option:
Red/Green Pair - The red goes from the energiser to the fence wire, and the green goes to the earth stake.
Red/Black Pair - These go from the energiser to your 12V Battery.
Can the Gallagher BA Energiser series run off a 12V Battery?
Yes, they are able to run off a 9V battery which fits inside the casing, or they can be run from a 12V battery.
The Gallagher 9V battery comes with it's own connection leads, but you need additional leads if you want to run it from a 12V battery see 12V Battery connecting cable
